Win a Ticket to the Talkabot Chatbot Conference!

Matt Buck

Our friends over at Howdy are putting on a conference here in our lovely home of Austin, Texas on September 28th and 29th. Talkabot is a conference focused on conversational interfaces: chatbots, voice interfaces, and the like - our bread and butter here at Voxable. We want you to join us!

Our very own Lauren Golembiewski will be presenting on Ghostbot, so you know it’s going to be a good time. When Lauren was accepted as a speaker, we found ourselves with an extra ticket. Since we love this community, we thought we’d run ourselves a good, old-fashioned, Texas-sized giveaway!

If you’d like a chance (or two) of winning a ticket to Talkabot, you’ll just need to:

  • Sign up for our email list below. We (of course) don’t sell your information. We’ll just periodically send a round-up of our favorite articles about conversational interfaces. If you’re interested in attending Talkabot, you’ll certainly be interested in our newsletter. There’s a TON of stuff being written about this space every day. We sort through the noise and only bring you the best. WE READ THE JUNK, SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO.
  • Apply to join our new conversational interfaces discussion forum, The Conversationalist. We’ll be talking more about The Conversationalist in a future post, but here’s the skinny: we noticed that there wasn’t a great place for professionals working in this space to have meaningful, in-depth discussions. While chat is a great medium for timely back-and-forth, it’s a bit lacking in this regard when compared to the mighty Discourse. The fact that folks working in the “conversational” space didn’t have a great place to have conversations with one another was too glaringly ironic a problem not to fix.

We'll select a winner Monday, September 19 at 9PM Central. Be sure to sign up for both our newsletter and The Conversationalist for an astounding two-fold increase in your chances of winning. Also make sure to peruse the contest’s terms and conditions, especially if you’re a fan of that fast-talking part of radio commercials. By applying, you agree to adhere to those rules.

If you have any trouble finding a place to stay, just let us know and we’ll do our level-best to help you out. We know people. Unfortunately, we can’t offer to help with travel expenses, since we don’t know where you live. If you have any other questions, just hit us up at that handy chat-bubble in the lower-right-hand corner.

Hope to see you at Talkabot!
